Bihar stands at the cusp of taking a giant step towards modern railway connectivity as the state is getting ready to experience its first Namo Bharat Rapid Train that will link Patna and Jayanagar. To be dedicated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 24 from Madhubani, this new train inaugurates Bihar into India's future-generation rapid railway network, opening up the potential for quicker, safer, and more comfortable journeys between cities to commuters, professionals, and visitors alike.

The train is produced by Alstom in Gujarat with an aerodynamic shape for energy conservation and less drag.
