Akashvani Strikes a Chord: ‘Nai Soch Nai Kahani’ Wins Big at India Audio Summit 2025

India's national radio broadcaster Akashvani shone bright at the 3rd India Audio Summit and Awards 2025 in Mumbai and won six coveted awards in different categories. The highest honour was won by "Nai Soch Nai Kahani – A Radio Journey with Smriti Irani" that won the highly sought-after Series of the Year. The 13-episode heart-warming series had stories of courage and determination with a rare interview of President Droupadi Murmu.

 

The other awards that catch attention were the News Services Division's "Public Speak" for Best Produced Audio Streaming Programme (Health and Fitness), "Chhayageet" for Best Late Night Show, "Ujale Unki Yadon Ke" for Best Celebrity Show, "Safarcast" for Best Travel Show, and a Creative Excellence in Short-form Content award.

 

Director General Dr. Pragya Paliwal Gaur praised Akashvani’s blend of tradition and innovation, reaffirming its role as a trusted voice in India’s evolving audio landscape.
