Bengaluru saw a milestone event as more than 35 tech leaders in areas such as AI, quantum computing, property technology, and urban mobility met at the CXO Roundtable on 'Technologies for Future Cities'. The meeting, which took place on Saturday, concentrated on cooperative strategies to create intelligent, inclusive, and sustainable cities.

Key Highlights:

Urban Mobility Innovations: Venkata Subbarao Chunduru of Arcadis IBI Group presented Bengaluru's AI-based traffic signal system, which has reduced ambulance response times by 50%. MN Anucheth, Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), revealed the increase in AI camera coverage from 50 to 500 junctions under the Safe City project, driven by the new ASTraM smart traffic engine.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Jose Jacob Kalayil, Chairman, Future ICT Forum, appealed for intersector collaborations, projecting Bengaluru as an international hub for innovation on urban solutions.

Ethical Tech and Quality of Life: Arcadis's Ramin Massoumi emphasized that innovation in AI, digital twins, and cybersecurity has to be centered on making daily life better, rather than pure technology achievement.
